Is there any way to fix this or get around it? Now click on the play button to run the game. Adjust the various settings like display and controls before running the game. Open the Game Boy Color Emulator on your PC and locate the ROM file from inside the emulator.

Yesterday it glitched out after a rejected code and erased the save file (luckily I was only three badges in, and I play with speed turned up, but it was still a few hours lost and pretty irritating). KiGB is currently the most compatible / accurate. Also, download the Pokemon Red ROM file and extract the zip file to run in the emulator.
Same thing happens when I try Action Replay codes with it. In a thorough comparison between KiGB and 4 other emulators made by the author of KiGB, KiGB shows 100 perfect emulation in all tested games, however it fares about as poorly as nogmb on various test ROMs, suggesting its accuracy isnt as high as its author claims. KIGB CHEATS PORTABLE
Any code I enter, no matter where or how, gives that infamous "invalid format xxxyyy" error. KiGB is the self-proclaimed leader of Gameboy emulation accuracy.
